When i reflected on my years as a professional financial adviser, i realized that i had spent massive amounts of time trying to help people retire. And it's a lot simpler to simply re design your life and reorganize your activities and build a life that you don't want to retire from. The only people who ever wind up actually being able to retire comfortably, either had a high income or they had a productive business that grew in value. So if you look at the most productive and the wealthiest, you'll see that what they generally do is invest into themselves.
