AI-Mediated Welfare Office

The idea that the bureaucratic state can in some sense be automated with these systems is incredibly scary because like bureaucracies already scary. At least if you're fired from your job or denied welfare or singled out for extra screening at the border by a human there's a chance and I mean bureaucracy does its best to get around this anyway. There's a chance that they might have a human emotion feel bad take an extra look into things see what's actually going on and and maybe cut you a break AI systems aren't likely to do that, they'll just blow right through you.
