The Difference Between Management and Leadership

LZ Granderson: Leadership is voluntary. You can't order people around and say, you must come to this bill. LZ: Many in the spiritual line of work got into it because they wanted to lead. But indoctrination has pushed people to ask, will this be on the test? And there's one institution in my town where six influential members got upset at the person who was leading it over a trivial issue about parking. He says when you are willing to have people leave because they're not involved in the journey, you are probably leading. If you need to use every force you're disposed of to keep people, you're probably managing.
