How to Build a Neural Network That Can Classify Flowers
Trent: There are actually millions of people who are doing this full time. So if you're trying to build a neural network that's able to classify flowers or something like that, you have to show examples of labeled images and then it learns a mapping between the pixels or the colors in the flower, the shape of the flower to the label. You can't just feed it a bunch of images and say, go figure it out, like you wouldn't know what to do. Trent: It's this big unsolved problem in data. These applications are incredibly data hungry and you're part of the plumbing that allows us to feed that monster and get it to learn new things.
