The Battle of Karkamesh

After the Meeds and Babylonians take more ground yet from the Assyrians, Egypt is like we got to get involved. The fate of the ancient world is going to be decided right here as we come up on 600 BC. You would think that one of those four is going to end up sitting atop a mountain of corpses and ruling the world for the next several hundred years. But it doesn't really play out like that. They meet at the city of Karkamesh and they're the battle of KarkAMESh occurs. And now there is very little left of Assyria by the time the Egyptian army gets up north.
