lake: The whole kind of idea of the movie is that maverick gets his way. And and the construction of her character, while it's not super complex, is in direct enough opposition to load these scenes with enough conflict. That's how we get, what we get at the end of this movie is not about, there are bad guys, we have to kill them. It's about, here's a flawed character, and he has to learn, you know, how to fix his flaw.
