In his journals, nita makes it clear that this idea that his father's affliction was the thing that would kill him. The headstone for karl ludwig exemplifies his attitude towards life. He cannot wish that he had not been brought forth into the world by this man,. cursed with this mystery of affliction that caused him so much pain. Nitha believed the good involved the cendents of all and celebrated his father because his father is a part of him. Even his source of endless suffering as an inexorable part of himself wouldn't have been nica noeeee.
