Is It a Challenge for the Poorer Countries to Be Able to Stand Up for What They Have
When oil prices were very high, there were certain producers in the global south that were able to punch diplomatically far above their weight. I think so much is contingent though upon these countries actually having a strong economic base. And ther i think the larger countries in africa could play an important role in that aspect. So nigeria, for example, and play a very critical role and kind of stand its ground in terms of what its development priorities are.
