How Do We Know When It's a Command That Should Apply to Us?

Every tradition in the whole history of the jesus movement, every tradition picks and chooses. The question is what's the criteria by which they pick and choose? And if there is a divine criteria for picking and h in we want to know what that is. Ah, i'm just trying to set that dynamic on the table, because not everybody sees that dynamic. Not everybody even knows that their tradition is picking and choosing. But it's true. There are very few christian traditions where women can't open their mouths anywhere in a public gathering.
