The apprenticeship system that was foundedin in the sixteenth century, that actually tied people basically to these these op families would take their young kids and give em to them. So now of a sudden, apprentices could leave on own. And that opened up all kinds of ways in which they experienced the labor market. To me, that's amazing, you know, aspect. i want to see liberalism as as seeing this aspect of the great escape from malthusian world to realizing the great expanses of the great society.
