If there were some kind of ultimate goal, it would be that in the typical time when your mind's reflex is to say something crummy about yourself, that your new response becomes more adaptive. One example of self talk that many of us use, negative self talk, is what i call prophesiing, so or future telling. When i started talking more adaptively by saying, hey, mike talks to tons of people every day,. he's probably not a monster. He's probably not going to judge or shame you. So whether or not that becomes the reflex, which is amazing, ah, i would say that that's probably our goal. We're going to have the goal
