Is Flooding Happening Here?
The company has a constellation of 14 satellites that it can use to monitor flooding. It uses data from weather forecasts, population and other factors to get situational awareness of where a flood might happen. Within 24 hours after the peak capture, they have to turn around and figure out what is the flood extent and how deep was the flood like. "We constantly learn new things," says CEO John Wozniak.
