The Effects of Intermittent Fasting on Autophagy

When we do a longer fast, so over 24 hours, our bodies start to shut off certain pathways. So when you go through an extended fast, that's any fast that's longer than 24 hours, your body really shuts down those pathways and insulin levels start to drop.
