The Importance of Training and Setup in the Airways to Trial
This study was undertaken in a large number of operators who were relatively inexperienced. We endeavored to standardise intubation using a bougie. And that did help, I believe, but it didn't stilldidn't achieve as high a success rate as we would have liked to have seen. But the equivalence is actually quite impressive and it's quite a tribute to how good bougies are. The team knows exactly what's going to happen. Choice is not really an option for our operators.
