Turkey's Engagement With the Russian Federation Is a Regional Reality
Turkey has been on the other side of battlefields from the russians, not only recently, but traditionally in history and throughout centuries. Yet somehow this relationship between erdaan and puton seems to remain at least somewhat friendly. I think that's a great question. Then it's really very complex, but i think one of the realities one has to understand is that nato member country like turkey engaging with the russian federation in this type of lationship may be a seeming inconsistency, but it's also a regional reality.
