Is There a Retention Crisis in the NHS?
junior doctors are working in very tough conditions now because the state of the NHS. There's obviously a fear that without decent pay rise and more and more doctors could leave the profession. Particularly for general practice we're worried about retention of GPs. We know that there's two thousand fewer full time equivalent GPs working than since our records began. This is meaning that the patients can't get appointments and that's a big problem.
