I think it's inevitable that some group of creators is going to use chat GPT to write a book. Now, again, it depends how good those books end up being in terms of whether picked up by publishers. But if you are a publisher, you are faced with this question: will we publish AI written books? I think it's going to be increasingly hard for them to even be able to tell whether they were written with AI.
