The Role of Microbiome in Predicting Methane Emissions

There is a very strong homogeneity of the microbiome with the cows of the same herd. Even people who live in the same house share similar exotic microbes. And we are much more hygienic than cows. But statistically speaking, it's of a very strong prediction about it. I mean, there may be one cow who would still produce lots and lots of methane. It's valid for prediction of the efficacy for the entire herd.
