The Difference Between Identification and Predication
i think that an analytic philosopher like bertrand russell would say what he does not under tanding the difference between statements of of identification and statements of predication. And i don't think hegel is licensing us to just wantonly contradict ourselves, instead, i think he's saying, no, you have to obey the principle of non ction. But when you do that, you will find that you end up in contradictions like that i but you only find that at the end - which is why i think his whole point is that beginnings are misleading,. because it's only when you follow out the claim to the end that you see how contradictory they are.
