During the adolescent brain, you're getting high amounts of amilination and synaptic pruning. As we age there is more capability for innovative, creative problem solving. A younger brain makes less assumptions about the world as welld so they see the world more as it is. So a family of people that spans different generations creates a great team because of the way that they have different brain profiles based on their ages.
