Single Names - Can We Be More Selective?
Banks had a stellar year last year. Most of the tierone banks had a return of 30 or forty % for the year. They did start out 20 22 on a solid note, but of course, they were all so somewhat caught up in the January market volatility. We'd like to think that in the changing real environment, banks and ther lending business would benefit from a change in the rate environment. But there may be some some delay to that. And their other factors involved as well.
