Is the Hinterland the Home of the Proletarian Class?

The Hinterland plays a very intimate relation to a lot of the inner like urban, I think you call it urban side. A good way to understand this concept in the American context is basically through looking at the inverse of gentrification. So we're all very familiar with gentrification and kind of the politics that arise around opposition to gentrification and traditional inner cities in the US. But also there were all these shifts about where logistics networks were built up as global activity was going on.
