Time Pressure and the Sunk Cost Fallacy
Time pressure is one of many psychological cues that scammers will use to make us feel pressure, makes us feel a panic. If we're told we only have a certain amount of time to to do something or to take advantage of an opportunity, we just don't think as clearly. When we're thinking fast, when we're thinking in that kind of clouded way, we don't think about possible, unintended consequences of what we're doing. We jus act before we think.
