How Much Physical Preparation Should I Spend on My Athletes?

For a 10 year old doing 20 hours a week what does that 20 hours look like in terms of how that split up among disciplines? Yeah okay so with regards to discipline what we tend to do is I'm going to give you a rough figure that I tend to encourage 25 to 33% so quarter to a third of that time should be spent on physical preparation. We've then got the rest of course technical time and typically we spend a lot of time on bars and beam floor and vault of both legs apparatus.
