The idea of having like a whole extra control plane to connect service meshes always struck me as just like, is this really what we need? And I didn't have a solution for that. But Kubernetes has service mesh as a native resource type. It's a native concept inKubernetes. Service mesh compresses our view of like pod to pod network and service to service network into one concept. That makes it so much more efficient.
