Kodak tried to build a very similar project in weeks, but I think the main difference was that instead of relying on open source solutions, some of them were not there yet. We don't want to create our own proprietary solution, even if it's open source, it's still going to be ours. So we'd rather edit whatever solutions are out there in the industry.
