Peter Hamlin is founder and president of the Brain and Spine Foundation. He famously saved the life of boxer Michael Watson when he developed a blood clot in his brain back in the 1990s. The next step of our study is to find another subset of patients that had repetitive mild injury, repetitive concussion and see whether that makes them more likely to develop dementia. Emmanuelle Stematakis there from the University of Cambridge. So what can we do to protect people who are at risk of developing serious damage to their brains?
