You Can't Boss Rebels Around
If you're a boss and one of your employees is a rebel, you can't boss them around. You need to let them choose to do the work based on their own reasons that they have. If you tell them to dowhat, the're not going to do it. And so there's one good framework that she gives here. So you need to give a request or frame what you want them to do in the sequence of information consequences. But whatever their choice is, don't try and funnel em into the choice that you wantthem to make. They must truly make the choice for themselves.
