The Role of Urine Catacolamines in Diagnosis of Hypertension
There is not great evidence to support checking 24-hour urine metanaphrens for pheochromocytoma. If it's mildly elevated, we don't consider that positive. We really look for two and a half to three time the upper limit of normal just for plasma metanaphrems.
