Derek Ginsburg was a very kind straightforward man with a lot of time for other people. He had a tendency to talk about himself because that's what he was most interested in doing and it was very interesting indeed. I shared a student flat with him in 1962-3 we then went to then he got his art degree at the Slade. We've just been hearing about energy and when people say to me gosh you knew Derek what was he like I say what he had was extraordinary energy.
