The Antidote to Cynicism

I think the best antidote to cynicism is activism, is to get engaged. Music can't change the world. It has no agency. But it can make people feel differently about the world. I love billy bragg so much, and i love any chance i get to talk to him,. because we both have an affection for some of those old songs. He's always kind of helping new activists and helping out new people who want to combine art and activism. The new album is quite an inspiration. If you're a fan of the old billy brag stuff and you haven't listened to the new record, it is excellent. Like he's never really goneway from that level but
