What's the Second Great Success Story of Industrialization?
There's a theory that industrialization will spread from region to region as the economy grows and our need for an ever increasing variety of goods grows. I kind of do think that something like this is going on, although it's very hard to validate those theories with data. Japan started industrializing in the late 1800s, which was not that long after the European country started to industrialize. And so then basically China was the really big one. You know, East Asia is almost all China. Like China is almost all of East Asia by population.
