Rethinking Time and Existence

This chapter critically analyzes the Qalam argument's claim that a past finite state necessitates a beginning for the universe. It explores philosophical concepts of time, suggesting that physical entities, including the universe, could exist outside of temporal constraints. Through a discussion of various cosmological models and philosophical objections, the chapter challenges prevailing notions surrounding the existence of beginnings and the nature of infinity.
