How to Close a Funeral

The closing is something that kind of gets left on the table or maybe not thought about so much quite frequently. I feel like part of it might be that people don't want to take ownership of telling people what to think. The person I interviewed for this book was a woman named Amy Cunningham, who's a funeral director in Brooklyn. And she almost always closes by connecting people's specific pain to a universal pain.
