The Titanic Hits an Iceberg

The Titanic hit an iceberg off the coast of Newfoundland at 1140 p.m. on April 14, 1912. Captain Thomas Andrews was in his cabin when he saw water pouring into luggage and mailrooms. He rushed back up stairs to report that the ship had about an hour and 30 minutes to live. A lot of first-class passengers slept through the impact.
