The Importance of Observing the Environment in Detective Games

A big inspiration before Albert Dengra was Mark Brown's YouTube video about detective games. We did not want to do 3D partially because we didn't have experience with it. I am a bit of control freak and I really like that in 2D environment, you have very tight control of what player sees while in 3D, you don't know from what kind of angle they see what. And 3D has this scary implication that it's high fidelity.
