The Last Classroom Lost Community of the Schools in Urban America
Michael Hartnam: One of the great gifts to Catholicism in the U.S. has been a very robust, alternative school system. He says Catholic schools benefit from hiring instructors with subject matter expertise who are good with children but not necessarily come with the latest fattasome. Hartnam: Not all social and emotional learning is a bad thing; I think a lot of kids are struggling emotionally after the pandemic.
