The Fed Is No Longer the Only Central Bank in the World That's Preventing Inflation
The fed is no longer the only central bank, at least publicly committed to fighting inflation. i think there's a good chance that now the ureau again has seen its loats relative to the dollar,. And in fact, legard herself acknowledged that the weakness in the ureau was part of the inflation problem and it was making inflation worse. The e c b is going to have to give on that policy, and it'll have to commit to shrinking its balance sheet.
