The Importance of Science in Religion
You want ideas that derive from science that are not directly antagonistic with, for example. George Vermetra is a Belgian cosmologist who writes his paper in 1927 arguing that the effect of the universe is expanding. Pope Pius XII picks up the evidence and said, we know there is a point of creation, therefore, there is a creator. So that's an example where you could say the science points, gestures in the same direction as the theology but you'd be very cautious about putting too much weight on it for stated reasons.
