The maybourne hotel group, which includes clariges, the berkeley and the connaught, had been sold to the catares. Paddy mc killan would renovate the hotels then in 20 22, seven years after he struck his deal, he'd get a load of cash. But now it's 20 22, and paddyMcKillan is not so confident. He thinks the hotels have shot up in value partly because of his renovations. Sources close to him say he just wants a fair price. They suggested that the hotels could be valued at more than five billion pounds. The two sides began to threaten each other with legal action.
