The Holy Trinity of Ethnomichology
In Oaxaca, two varieties of magic mushrooms had disappeared due to the changing climate. The Maasitex were already practicing a syncretic religion with many elements of traditional indigenous religions in terms of the mushrooms. Some have referred to Wassen, Schulte and Huffman as the Holy Trinity of ethnomichology. We're now finding that fungi in the ruins of Chernobyl are eating radioactive waste.
