I Think That's a Big Difference Between Augustine and Aquinas

Augustine and Aquinas were much more focused on the morality of the action itself not necessarily what it is that's going to happen as a result of what you do. Many people today think that this life is the only life there is, so enjoy your life for the greatest degree possible - how can you do that if you're dead or in prison? If you're not willing to die for the truth then  you might as well have no hope at all.
