The Prophets Are Not Difficult
Bob Greene: God sought out his people and gave them laws, commandments. He says the prophets were harsh sometimes but that's not because they're difficult or oppressive. It's because God is passionate to set things right, he says. Despite all this, we tended to run away from it, Greene writes. But then in the fullness of time, listen, God spoke to us through his son - a baby child.
