How to Include a Realistic Amount of Irregularity Into Your Language

No native English speaker has 501 English verb books. Even professional linguists will develop an entirely regular language that's somewhat limited in order to run experiments and stuff. So typically when people mean irregularity, they mean more philogically irregularity. And for English speakers, I think often anything weird at all gets called irregular, even if it might be 100% predictable.
