The Assyrian Empire in the middle of the 7th century BC was full of normal people. Nanaiah Elahi and her daughter left Babylonia behind, probably traveling north along the Tigris River. A great many of them had been moved to their new homes by the Assyrian state as deportees. They would never see their home again.
