Is It a Robert Eggers Movie?
It's interesting hearing about these references in relation to your films. Seeing that sort of new england sensibility filtered through all these very european film references, really helps me to understand, in many ways, where your films are coming from. But i can't imagine that's part the active process for you. How how aware are you of your particular interests and perspective when you're writing a story? Or are you just, like, this is a story i want to tell?"
