How to Make Monster Dials Work for You
Wizards of the Coast and other publishers, including Cobalt Press, have changed how spell casting monsters work. Spell spells are different because spells often have different effects. You can sort of turn the dials on spells to make every spellcaster you run unique so that they're not all just sitting there with your typical fireballs and lightning bolts.
