How Did You Become an Artist?

I started making art in my early thirties, and a few years later, the internet was becoming a space for artists to share their work. And i sort of joined all of those things with abandon,. periodically, somebody would, you know, email me and say, cause this was before social media, they would say, can i buy that from you?
