Left and Right Hemispheric Strokes
When it comes to making sense of the world, the left hemisphere tends to rely on its theory. The right hemisphere is what Ramachandran calls the devil's advocate. And so the way I think of it is that the right hemisphere is saying, well, let me check that by looking out the window and seeing if that really is the case. It may say so on this piece of paper, but that's not good enough for me.
