Are We Going to Trust the Police in the Wake of Vivaldi?
Is this going to have a cascading effect, whereby when police come out and speak after terrible events, they are just that the level of trust is going to be eroded? Or is this something which will be forgotten? We thought it was different at newtown. It wasn't different. Is there any reason to think this won't end the way all this has ended in the past? The proposed laws sort of been tossed around and changed,. And then ultimately, failing nit, we're never getting to a vote.
